Referrals for dr Patel

i understand this is frustrating for all parties involved, however if you don’t have plain Medicare (not advantage) or a ppo plan, please have a referral from your pcp regardless of what their websites state. Presbyterian has been notorious for mixing up ppo and hmo rules and then it’s denied, and forwarded to the patient. This as a clinic policy, unless we are your primary care (in which case we will get you in to write a referral before), we need a new referral from all patients for dr patel who don’t have plain Medicare or a ppo plan.

we are still waiting for her bcbs credentialing to be finished. Very very sorry for the inconvenience.
